Usually a game starts out slow, showing something different at each step, but I felt like this one jumped in at a higher level and I even took a moment to back out to see if I'd chosen something wrong. I had show hints turned on in options but got none and it took a while to figure out even a little bit of strategy. To whoever it was that said they got stuck right away, you're not alone.
